There is perhaps no other activity in my life that has brought me closer to people and to the natural world than fly fishing. People whose uniqueness and greatness I might have never seen or been affected by, and moments framed with sounds, smells, and sensations that often heighten one’s self awareness and consciousness.
We are stoked to be co-hosting ‘An Earth Day Shindig’ with our friends, Flood Tide Company on 4/20/17 at Cooper River Brewing. Since Emerger Strategies and Flood Tide Company are both 1% for the Planet members, with thought it would be a good idea to donate all proceeds to a couple of great local nonprofits: The Sustainability Institute and Charleston Waterkeeper. Both The Sustainability Institute and Charleston Waterkeeper do so much good for the Charleston community and we wanted to do our part to say thanks and give back!
